Welcome to my new experiment!
I recently have started using AI to make fun portraits!
In order to generate a portfolio of them, I invite you to have a free Beta session and create your own! I’ll walk you through all the steps so all you have to do is be willing to get creative and have some fun!
As an example, last week I wanted to make some comic book style superhero photos of my cousins and this is what we came up with.
“I want wanter power!”
“I want to be invisible!”
All you need to do is come up with a concept for a photo you would like to have of yourself, we work together to have AI generate the background of your photo, then you show up for a live session with the closest you can get to wardrobe and props and I will take care of the rest! Doesn’t it sound fun! Then you should sign up!
Here’s how it works
STEP ONE: Imagine your background environment.
To create your background, we will enter a written description of what you want into an AI program called Midjourney.
When you sign up for your session it will ask you to describe in as much detail as you can the environment you’d like for your background that we will Photoshop you into.
The prompt will generate four options and you will choose one as your background.
This prompt was “dungeon with smoke and lasers and a unicorn.”
The others were “giant wave about to crash into a city street” and “public alleyway in Tokyo at night.”
The more specific you can be about everything the more specific you can make it. The more vague you are the more randomness will have a hand.
STEP TWO: Come in for your photo session
Once I send you your background, you can start to gather props and clothing for the actual shoot. We will shoot you with appropriate lighting and attire and any props you have.
We can use AI to generate props and costume pieces, but the more you come prepared with the easier it is to use the program. AI can imagine things and improve upon them but it has trouble creating accurate items, like specific dresses or accessories.
Come as close to your image of what you want as you can.
STEP THREE: Photoshop magic!
This is the part where I need as much practice and experimentation as I can get!
I can’t promise that it will be exactly as you imagined it in your head but my goal is to get as close as I can!
Either way I think it will be super fun and whatever we come up with will be an awesome part of history as this new technology emerges.
